Conference Webcasting

Participate LIVE via the web!

Even if you can’t attend the ADEC Annual Conference in person, you can join a live webcast of select sessions. On all three days of the conference, we’re presenting top speakers and topics in thanatology – that you can watch from your computer at home! All sessions are presented in real time, which means you'll see and hear the presenter live along with other conference participants.

How It Works

  • Choose the sessions you'd like to attend live, and complete registration and payment. Options include single sessions, a one-day pass, or a three-day pass. All sessions will take place Thursday – Saturday, April 6–8. In total, 15 sessions will be webcast. Note: these are not recorded sessions. You must be at your computer at the scheduled time to view the webcast.
  • You'll receive an email confirmation with instructions to participate from our partner, Playback. The email will include login instructions, as well as the precise date and time of the session. You will receive a separate confirmation for each session that you register for. Prior to the day's sessions, be sure to verify that you meet the system requirements.
  • At the designated time, follow the email instructions to log in to the session. You may choose to set up the webcast in a conference room and invite colleagues to view the presentation with you. An unlimited number of participants can view the webcast with you from a single location (if you have participants at multiple sites, each site must purchase its own registration).
  • Following the webcast, the registered buyer at your site will be able to claim continuing education credits. (Additional viewers will not be able to claim credit; to claim CE credits, you must be registered with payment.) Each session is eligible for 1 – 1.5 CE(s). Within 2-3 weeks after the conference ends, you will receive a link to an evaluation to submit your attendance online and claim your credit.
