Pre-approval Program Process — get your educational program pre-approved by ADEC: Your course/workshop/seminar/class/distance education can be listed on ADEC's website.

Programs Pre-approved for CT and FT Contact Hours: All programs listed on this page can be used when applying for Certification in Thanatology/Fellow in Thanatology and applying for recertification.

ADEC Handbook of Thanatology Self Study: Test your command of ADEC's essential body of knowledge. The Handbook of Thanatology Self Study Course offers online quizzes in six sections that mirror the printed handbook. Purchase and complete the quizzes online for continuing education credit or nursing contact hours.
