Emily Burch, Executive Director
Emily supports the functioning of the Board of Directors and oversees the operations of the headquarters staff. She is responsible for managing new initiatives, overseeing ADEC's committees, as well as long-term financial and strategic planning. She also ensures that the organization maintains sound financial principles and makes progress in achieving its goals. Jordan Burghardt, Administrative Director

Gabrielle Jacobson, Credentialing Administrator
Gabrielle supports credentialing program for ADEC and works with various committees including the Test Committee, and the test consultant with managing administrative matters related to ADEC’s Certification in Thanatology. Violeta Aceremo, Member Services Specialist
Violeta is the primary point of contact for anyone with questions regarding their member benefits, membership status and product orders. Contact her if you have questions about membership processing or renewal, distance education payments, or if you need website login assistance.
Justin Dreyfuss, Marketing Communications Manager
Justin is responsible for the content, design and delivery of
ADEC’s print and electronic communications. He also handles
marketing for the Annual Conference and oversees website initiatives.

interviews with ADEC leadership.
Christine Meehan, Conference Director
Christine works with ADEC leaders to plan, manage and promote conferences. She is responsible for all conference logistics, including management of vendors and contractors.
Tonya Cabrera, Conference Administrator

Kismet works with the Distance Education Committee and headquarters staff
to facilitate CE accreditation of ADEC’s educational events, oversees ADEC’s
distance education program, and develops new education initiatives.
