ADEC Forum

ADEC Forum is ADEC's official quarterly publication and serves dual purposes.

First, in support of ADEC’s mission of providing education, support and resources to our members, ADEC Forum provides scholarly articles on a variety of professional development themes. This normally includes summaries of research findings, analysis of the literature, critical commentary and discussion of issues pertinent to death education and counseling.

Second, ADEC Forum is a vehicle for disseminating association news and developments that are of interest to the general membership.

As of January 2011, ADEC Forum is distributed electronically to ADEC's entire membership (approximately 1,800 thanatology professionals). Many of the articles that appear in ADEC Forum are written by invited authors who are specifically solicited by the editorial staff in the interest of furthering an identified professional development theme. However, ADEC Forum staff also welcomes articles from ADEC members and nonmembers.

Questions?

Questions about submitting an article to ADEC Forum, suggestions of professional development themes and questions about advertising should be forwarded to ADEC Forum Managing Editor, Donald Rolfe at ADEC Headquarters.
