If ever there was an area requiring that the research-practice gap be bridged, surely it occurs where thanatologists engage with people dealing with human mortality and loss. The Handbook of Thanatology, produced by ADEC and based on the ADEC Body of Knowledge, helps bridge that gap. The second edition of ADEC's Handbook of Thanatology was published in 2013 and is available for purchase — learn how to order your copy.
Members receive the bi-monthly Connects to keep them up to date about all the goings-on in the association. In addition to news from headquarters, Connects is also a platform where members can share their own news and recent achievements. Connects also incorporates articles from The Forum , addressing important topics for thanatology professionals. Read past issues in the archive.
