The ADEC Board has taken the unprecedented step of cancelling our 42nd annual meeting scheduled for April 28-May 2, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio. 

We intend to offer refunds of all fees paid and we will not be enforcing the cancellation policies in our registration agreement.


The premiere educational, interdisciplinary meeting for professionals working in the field of death, dying and bereavement: mental health professionals, social workers, counselors, educators, clergy, funeral directors, hospital and hospice personnel, and psychologists. ADEC invites applications from individuals who wish to teach the Intermediate Professional Development Course: Grief Counseling for the 2021 - 2023 conferences. More information on the course and the application process is available online. Applications are due March 20.
