ADEC is committed to ensuring a safe and engaging environment for the 2022 Conference. The health & safety of all participants is ADEC's main priority.
We understand that rapid developments continue around the spread of COVID-19 and related federal and state agency guidelines. We aim to be responsive and may adjust policies. We will review COVID event policies and may update as frequently as bi-weekly leading up to the event. Thank you!
Review what we'll be doing at Conference to help keep participants safe:
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all participants (attendees, staff, vendors) is required to finalize in-person registration.
- At Conference check-in, each attendee must show their ID, along with one of the following accepted proofs of vaccination:
- CDC and WHO cards – original or digital image
- Vaccine Verification apps from all US States
- International vaccine verification documents
- Masks are required to be worn indoors by all participants unless actively eating, drinking, or presenting.
- Disposable surgical masks will be available at registration; participants are encouraged to bring their own.
- ADEC will enforce a wellness policy which is required consent during registration by all participants as a condition of onsite participation. This includes the stipulation that if you feel sick or are experiencing COVID-like symptoms prior to traveling to or while onsite you will not participate in the event in-person. Such attendees will be automatically provided access to the online version of the conference.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the event space and individual hand sanitizer will be distributed to all participants. Everyone should utilize hand sanitizer frequently.
- ADEC’s events management team will work closely with venue staff to ensure that:
- Seating in event spaces is spread out according to CDC guidelines
- Food & beverage is served in the safest manner possible
- Meeting rooms are being sanitized in-between each session
- No on-site, day-of event registrations will be permitted.
- It is strongly recommended that all participants take a COVID-19 test prior to traveling, as close as possible to their departure.
