FIFTY FUTURES GLOBAL FUND
Making Grief Education a Global Right, Not a Privilege
Because where you live should never determine the quality of grief support you can offer.

Right now, a grief counsellor in rural Uganda has no access to the training that could save a family from generational trauma. A community health worker in Syria cannot afford the resources that would help a village heal. A hospice volunteer in rural Cambodia struggles alone, without the evidence-based guidance that practitioners in other places take for granted.

Your support can change this.

The Solution: Fifty Futures Global Fund

The Fifty Futures Global Fund is a landmark international initiative launched to mark ADEC's 50-year milestone in grief education and professional leadership. The model is straightforward: remove barriers to grief education for professionals and communities working in low-resource, conflict-affected, displaced or underserved settings around the world. Rather than focusing on one-off gifts, the Fifty Futures Global Fund invests in capacity building, knowledge access and sustainable global partnerships.

Why This Matters Now

Across the world, practitioners and organizations are supporting people through death, dying, disaster, displacement and trauma, often with limited access to training, research, or professional support. Additionally, many of these global practitioners and organizations also have limited financial resources.

Fifty Futures exists to change that by:

  • Expanding equitable global access to high-quality, predominantly digital, grief resources
  • Supporting individuals and organizations working at the frontlines of loss
  • Strengthening the global grief-informed workforce
  • Advancing a more just, connected, and compassionate future

How Your Gift Creates Global Impact

The Fifty Futures Global Fund is digital-first, scalable and sustainable, with support tailored to local need. Every dollar goes further because we invest in professional capacity, not temporary fixes.

Your contribution funds:

  • Digital access grants to grief education resources
  • Sponsored training and webinars for practitioners and organizations in low-resource contexts
  • Institutional micro-grants to support local grief education initiatives
  • Translation and cultural adaptation of materials, subject to feasibility
  • Strategic global partnerships with NGOs and community organizations
  • Hybrid resource packages, combining limited print materials with unrestricted digital access
This approach ensures maximum global reach, minimal overhead and measurable impact.

Choose Your Impact Level

Every contribution opens global doors to knowledge, training and professional connection. Choose the level that matches your capacity to create change.
