Conference Safety Considerations for COVID-19
The safety of our speakers, attendees, and staffs remains our highest priority. We are committed to following the health and safety measures in accordance with in-person event guidance provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Ohio. Our Conference Planning Committee will continually address any pandemic changes that develop until and through the time of our Conference.
- We respectfully remind all ADEC 2024 attendees, exhibitors, and staff to:
- Stay home if you experience any cold or flu-like symptoms.
- Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
- Be respectful of others and their choices to wear a mask based on their own comfort level.
- Stay healthy! Engage in responsible health practices such as avoiding touching eyes/nose/mouth with unwashed hands.
- Vaccination recommendation:
- We encourage COVID-19 vaccination and boosters.
- We encourage flu shots to further reduce the threat of illness.
- Mask recommendation:
- We encourage high-risk individuals, and those with family or colleagues who are at a higher risk of getting COVID, to consider wearing a high-quality mask recommended by the CDC.
- We also ask that you respect those around you who choose to wear a mask.
- Masks will be available upon request at the registration desk.
- Hand sanitizers will be provided to all conference attendees and available throughout the conference
